For the past eight years Ethan has been playing a weekly show at the Hole in the Wall on the Drag near the UT campus. The long-running residency has seen a variety of musicians take the stage with Ethan. Starting in 2017 Ethan started playing every Wednesday with Jeff Johnston and were eventually joined by Lindsey Verrill.

In recent years Ethan has been inviting local singer-songwriters from seasoned veterans of the Austin music scene to up and coming new faces! Shows are free, every Wednesday from 6-8pm
